Update

Wow, I am horrible at this. But, since finals and Christmas are over things shouldn't be quite as crazy.

In the beginning of December, Sam and I had the chance to go on a quick little trip to Washington DC, we were only there for a couple of days, but we had fun. Here are some of the pictures from our trip.

We were too cold to wait for someone to take a picture of us together, so we did it ourselves. We call this our drunk picture because we both look like we had a little too much.

Finals ended on December 17th, and, thankfully, I passed all my classes, so...only 3 more semesters left. I am pretty much done with everything I need for my Anthropology major, but since I still have to fulfill credit requirments, I have decided to double major in Political Science. What will I do when I'm done? Either go to law school or go on and get my Masters, it depends on what is going on with our lives at the time.

Christmas was nice, nothing too exciting. We had been planning on going to Preston, but the snowstorm pushed our visit to the following weekend, but we still had fun eating my mom's homemade candy and playing games.
Sam and I were pretty lame this year, neither one of us could think of anything we wanted and we didn't feel like fighting the crowds at the mall, so we just bought each other some clothes. Sam got me some very sassy, tall, red boots, that I absolutely love (I will post a picture later) and I got Sam a nice warm jacket because he is always cold during the winter.
As of right now, Sam is working and I am relaxing and enjoying the break from school (classes don't start again until January 12th). So I better go clean or do dishes, so it looks like I actually did something today.

Police Academy Graduation

Last Wednesday Sam graduated from the Salt Lake Police Academy. The Academy lasted 5 months and included tests every Monday and quizzes every Wednesday and Friday. The recruits were tested in physical fitness (which, of course, Sam rocked), law, fire arms, driving, and defense tactics. Sam also enjoyed the wonderful experiences of getting pepper sprayed and tazed. He is now on the streets fighting bad guys. Way to go Sam!

This is a trophy Sam's sister Ellie made; she is so creative. Sam's family also gave him several boxes of doughnuts.

Sorry not everyone was invited, seating was limited. This is a link to story on KSL. There is a video and if you watch closely you can see Sam and the back of my head. http://www.ksl.com/?nid=148&sid=4910741
